Decades at the bench
Years of hands-on repair across MacBooks, iMacs and Chromebooks — from failing batteries and cracked screens to machines that refuse to boot.
About your repairman
I'm the person who answers your request, diagnoses your device and does the work. When you call Hill Computing & Networking, you're working directly with someone who has spent decades fixing computers and building the networks that connect them.
My story
My introduction to technology came early. My mom worked as the IT coordinator for our local school, and I grew up watching what it takes to keep a building full of computers, students and staff connected. That early exposure turned into a lifelong habit of taking things apart, figuring out why they broke and putting them back together better.
Over the decades since, I've repaired more MacBooks, iMacs and Chromebooks than I can count. I've also done the less glamorous work that makes a network reliable: pulling Ethernet down long runs of hallway, up into ceilings and underground, so every connection is solid from the jack to the switch.
Most recently I managed the small-office network at the North Central Poultry Association, where keeping staff productive meant dependable connectivity, well-maintained workstations and quick answers when something went wrong. My communications degree from the University of Iowa shapes how I work with every customer: I explain what's wrong, what it will cost and what your options are, in plain language.
